As parents, we’re always hunting for meals that are healthy, quick, and baby-friendly—something our little ones will actually eat without a battle. In this first part of the minimiles Healthy Recipes series, I’m sharing one of our absolute favorites: a Moong Dal & Paneer Chilla.
It’s simple, protein-packed, and perfect for toddlers who are beginning to explore new textures and flavours.
⭐ Why Moong Dal for Kids?
Moong dal is one of the easiest dals for small tummies to digest.
It helps with:
- Gentle digestion
- High protein intake
- Energy boost
- Easy flavour pairing (you can mix veggies, ghee, spices!)
And when you add fresh paneer, it becomes a wholesome meal packed with calcium + healthy fats.

Ingredients (1–2 servings)
- 3 tbsp moong dal
- 3-4 small cubes of fresh paneer
